FINALLY, COOLER WEATHER

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 2

Happy Labor Day!   Today was a rather restful and reelaxing day for us.  I cooked breakfast - bacon, eggs, hashbrowns and hotcakes - outside this morning.   The weather
has cooled down so we were able to eat outside as well.  The high today has been around 80 and the humidity is gone so it is rather nice outside.  It is to be down in the 50's tonight and stay in the 70's the rest of the week.  Finally some cooler weather.

After breakfast we spent a couple of hours watching this place clear out.  It was like watching fleas jump off a dogs back.
Between 9:00 and 11:30 the number of RV's and tents dropped from close to 300 to less than 20.  There are about 8 RV's around us, but the rest of the park is almost completely deserted.  This park will close on Nov. 1 and won't reopen until April 1.  They certainly made their $$ this weekend.

We did a little laundry and went to Wal-Mart to get a new coffee pot, and that was the extent of our day.  I'll start the charcoal in a little while so we can cook dinner and that will conclude our day.  Not too exciting - but pleasant just the same.

Tomorrow we head out to Ravenna, Ohio - about 225 miles.  Until then - Happy Trails.
